A wedding at a modern open plan venue in West London, a fusion of English and southern US vibes, the wedding itself streamed to family and friends in the US who couldn’t make the journey, pinky promises in place of wedding vows, and lots of bright colours. Plus blue grass music, moonshine and a Morris Minor convertible as the car for the newlyweds to leave the party and head off for a late night tour of London. Pretty groovy stuff!
My favourite pictures from the day? I did enjoy the refreshing colours and airiness of the ceremony itself. Quite a departure from the normal constraints of a church, allowing for big wide shots of all that was going on. The bright light coming from windows was a challenge but added to the modern character of the venue.
Given that the groom was from the southern US, the moonshine and music was always going to produce some enthusiastic dance floor action – by the happy couple and many of their guests.
The highlight would have to be the Morris Minor convertible for the post wedding night time tour of West London, which made for great pictures of the bride and groom and the guests cheering them off!
